Ay Papi: An Ode to Moving On

A very happy holiday to all the daddies who walked out, or who never bothered to show their crummy faces in the durst place. It is by dint of their heroic undoings that we 4evr live in the shadows of Carmen Electra Complex exhibitionism. [enter FADE COUNTY]

Aquababe - Azealia Banks Pretty fucking cacophonous, but hey, that's our creeping future, one concomitant with kids dressing like this, and by kids I mean us. Either way, don't die your hair blue unless you wanna become irrelevant by tomorrow's next hashtag. (Yeah, I byte.)

Darrk/Blakk (White Car Love Just Begun Mix) - Missions. Awesome tech noir. aaand a chromatic remix I knooowww would make the best soundscape to a desecrating remake of Labyrinth (yeah no, please don't let that happen).

Look At Your Game, Girl (NanosauR Remix) - Charles Manson Bay Area resident NanosauR puts an uptempo, chillwaveish spin on a song written by Manson to fund his dirty defense. Reverberating vocals echoing 1967. This street is my world. I don't pretend to go uptown and be
anything fancy, I can, but I find more real in the worlds that I'm in.

Belispeak (Pe† Ceme†ery Gash-hag remix) - Purity Ring Purity Ring might be over, so this is for old time's sake. Less waves, more clicks--definitely the least creepy remix Pet Cemetery has ever done.

Cold & Tempted - Ryan Hemsworth The first 33 seconds will blow your mind. Sampling Waka Flocka's "Karma," this track is on ode to all the all the crazy shit you did, laced with a lullaby that will bring you back to the lost days of clean slates.

Sebenza (Hyperdub July 2012) - LV and Okmalumkoolkat I literally only like this 'cus it sounds like he's singing "sex offender" over and over again. And the lyrics are pretty heartfelt: Cyan, magenta, yellow, black/ Mac, MacBook Pro processor. It used to be that people were products of their generations. Now we're just generations of products.

Circling - Spell Hound Darkwave//ambient electronica. Think Austra x Crystal Castles. Pretty beautiful.

BB Bleu - Kid A Kid A made this for her film soundtrack. She never made a film or even had real plans to do so, but so what? In my world it's tracks or it didn't happen, and this is one sweet track.
