Fau & Dream released their Life Act EP a few months back and it is packed with some beat ridden excellence. Very dreamy, but beat driven future garage music. This is my favorite track off the release, but you should cop the rest from the link above.


Falling Into Pieces - Fau & Dream

This track is enormous. Perfect vocal samples and some stretched out synth work comes together to make an epically melodic groover. I can certainly see this one pushing the sophisticated dancefloor in all sorts of directions.

Totte - Shadows

Jon Convex's new album, Lied to be Loved is a perfect demonstration of his immense talent as one of the funkiest cats in the industry. Every track on the release gets me movin just right. I especially dig Zero, for its staccato beat and attention to detail. Hit this one on the head.

Exposia is an experimental hiphop beat project I was just fortunate enough to find on the internets. This is some seriously passion ridden shit and I can't believe this self titled album is being given away for free. Check out the London based, Future Garage producer Blacksmif. This guy is on top of the sound by my book and it is crazy to me that he has less than 700 followers on facebook. Homie needs to get hooked up because he is putting out straight masterful productions. I'm currently in L.A. livin' like a boss, as usual.  I've been collecting tunes and producing some trap tracks like a mad man, so I thought I'd show you what I've been up to.  Here are some tunes that I enjoy these days.  Check their soundcloud's while you're at it, too.

Harlem Shake- Baauer  Dude is currently blowin' da fuck up.  This track was released from Mad Decent, and has been downloaded more than A Night in Paris.  I don't know what that means really.  He's everywhere you look making bass influenced trap/hip-hop tunes of hood proportions.  Check his soundcloud for other filthy tunes.

Addiction- Mister Tweeks Very sick bass tune with a trap beat influence.  Found this dude through the epic LOL Boys, Dubbel Dutch, and Mister Tweeks mix for Pelican Fly the other day.  IF you haven't heard that mix either, it's epic.  All exclusive tunes from each artist.  It's insane.

Bubbles (G Jones Remix)- Subj Yao & Bios Trippy trap remix.  Very sick, very hype.  Trippin' on bubbles, watchu know bout dat?  I don't know very much, please teach me.

Double Take (LOL GURLZ Bootleg)- Girl Unit  If you haven't purchased Girl Unit's new EP Club Rez, go do it now.  Normally I would put all his sick tracks up for download, but having met him and hung out with him a couple of times, I honestly feel too guilty doing so.  Probably the nicest dude in the music game I've ever met.  SO SUPPORT THIS DUDE.  Anyways, LOL Gurlz just popped up in the soundcloud world and are taking over.  Not sure if it's to mock LOL Boys or if it really is the same duo.  Not quite sure, but they're producing hot fire.  

Flaunt It- LOL Boys  Here is the LOL Boys, very similar to the LOL GURLZ.  LOL.  LMAO. HA. Craziness.  Anyways, very sick, hype tune.  Horn hits and 808 beat, so it's definitely a genuine hood classic.

Headbanger (Jeklis Refix)- LEFTY Über sick tune.  Originally a juke track, now made into a slower more trap-like remix.  Very sick, long build up, but then it drop to be some very funky hood shit.  Check it out.

O.M.G.- Swisher  Found this dude via Soundcloud.  Very hype tune.  Sounds very similar to Baauer.  Similar hype level and classic trap sound.  Lots of ballin' ass vocal samples and 808 beats. Check it.

Trap On Acid- RL Grime  I have mixed feeling about this track.  It sounds exactly like that LMFAO track Sexy and I Know It.  Is that the point?  Also, very simple, not much like RL Grime.  It's basically a pop track, but still kinda good.  It has grown on me a little, but I dunno.  Everyone else is shitting bricks over it.

Easily the weirdest one, kinda reminds me of DJ Shadow mixed with some kid with an MPC on crack? Seriously, I don't even know what else to say about this one.

As soon as I heard this dude collaborating on the last Crookers album, I knew his stuff was the bee's knees. This song is very "boss-like", a weird ass beat with some synths that sound like they're bossing you around.
